In 2017, the company implemented a global travel program in
95 percent of its countries, implemented Conferma virtual card payment for
hotels in the U.S. and rolled out American Express' Business Travel Account
centralized billing accounts for air globally. 21st Century Fox saw its
U.S.-air booked volume rise half a million dollars from 2016 and expects it to
stay at $57.2 million in 2018. U.S. T&E was $77 million. Eighty-six percent
of its U.S.-booked airline ticket volume was made through the company's
approved online tools, 68 percent of that booked without an agent. Of the
company's total U.S. air booked dollar volume, 59 percent was for domestic
travel. Its corporate card program is individual bill/individual pay. In July
2018, Disney won a bidding war against Comcast to acquire 21st Century Fox. The deal is pending regulatory approval.
