Professional services giant Accenture's 2019 U.S.-booked air spending held steady from the year prior. Accenture continues to use GetThere for U.S. bookings. The company for the first time in 2019 implemented hotel agreements with dynamic pricing for its U.S. program.
The company for years has used an internally developed expense management system called MyTE. Accenture this year has implemented globally a travel-approval process to limit travel and ensure traveler safety in light of the Covid-19 pandemic
Accenture had about 492,000 employees as of the end of August 2019, up from 459,000 one year prior.
