2019 U.S.-Booked Air Volume: $63 million
Europe's aerospace giant Airbus posted $5 million more in U.S.-booked air volume in 2019 than it did the previous year, according to BTN's estimate. The company delivered 863 commercial aircraft to 99 customers in 2019, outpacing its previous output record set in 2018 by 8 percent. Overall revenue increased by 11 percent to 70.4 billion euros. The company employed 134,931 at the end of 2019. Airbus continues to work on its emissions with sustainable fuel efforts.
