retailer Amazon increased its U.S.-booked air volume 15.8 percent to $110
million in 2015, according to BTN’s estimate. This follows an
increase of 35 percent the prior year. Growth in the size of the travel program
has coincided with rapid company growth. In 2015, Amazon topped $100 billion in
sales for the first time, the fastest pace for any company to reach that
milestone. That marks 20 percent growth year over year. The company reports
more than 230,000 employees, more than seven times the number it had in 2010.
