Travel platform Atriis will provide New Distribution Capability content via Sabre's global distribution system per an agreement between the two travel technology companies announced on Thursday.
The agreement enables Atriis to provide corporate and travel management companies "comprehensive NDC itineraries alongside traditional GDS content," according to Atriis COO and co-founder Omri Amsalem. Altour will be the launch customer for the collaboration, with plans to go live in March. The content will be "widely available" for Atriis users during the second quarter, according to the company.
For Sabre, the agreement expands the reach of its NDC content as its Beyond NDC program is "gaining increasing momentum," according to Sabre Travel Solutions VP of product management for distribution experiences Kathy Morgan.
"We’ve signed a number of key NDC deals in recent months like with Air France-KLM, IAG, Latam and Hawaiian," Morgan said in a statement. "We have also accelerated on NDC content activations for carriers around the world, including Lot Polish Airlines, Lufthansa Group, Malaysia Airlines and Scandinavian Airlines, who all join the growing number of carriers that distribute their NDC offers in more than 150 markets through Sabre."
