BCD Travel will participate in the Qantas Channel when it launches Aug. 1. The channel enables travel management companies to bypass a per-segment fee for agent bookings and provides content from the Qantas Distribution Platform, which will use New Distribution Capability standards to connect with global distribution systems and online booking tools. The Beat reported last week that Qantas has such agreements covering 90 percent of its global agency revenue, including American Express Global Business Travel and CWT.
