Coca-Cola's U.S.-booked air spend fizzled down by $2 million
year-over-year in 2019, according to a BTN estimate. The soft drink giant saw
net operating revenue grow to $37.7 billion for the year, up 9 percent from
2018 and reversing a 10 percent decline over the previous one-year period.
Coca-Cola's global workforce surged by 37.7 percent in 2019, to 86,200, but in
August 2020 the company announced corporate reorganization plans that included
offering voluntary layoff packages to 4,000 employees in the U.S. and Canada.
