BTN estimates that media and entertainment conglomerate Comcast, owner of NBC Universal, increased its U.S.-booked air volume in 2015. Comcast revenue increased more than 8 percent to $74.5 billion, while operating income increased more than 7 percent to just shy of $16 billion. Operating and administrating expenditures increased 7.5 percent to $21.3 billion. While Comcast dropped a bid to acquire Time Warner Cable in 2015, the company purchased DreamWorks Animation this year for $3.8 billion.
