Glass and technology manufacturer Corning's 2022 U.S.-booked
air volume has rebounded strongly from 2021 levels, and the company is focusing
on limiting travel cost increases.
Corning has set a goal to reduce by 2028 its relevant Scope
3 carbon emissions, a category that includes business travel, by 17.5 percent
from a 2021 baseline.
The company's sales in 2022 increased about 5 percent year
over year to $14.8 billion. Corning at the end of 2022 had about 57,500 full-
and part-time employees in 44 countries, down from about 61,200 at the end of
2021.
