2016 U.S.-Booked Air Volume: $45 million
U.S.-booked air volume in 2016 fell 8 percent year over year
at manufacturing conglomerate Emerson, according to a BTN estimate. For the 12

its Columbus, Ohio-based Network Power unit to investment firm Platinum Equity
for $4 billion. It also sold its Leroy-Somer and Control Techniques businesses
to Nidec Corp. for a reported $1.2 billion. Emerson averaged 103,500 employees

discontinued. The company uses Carlson Wagonlit Travel and American Express
Global Business Travel for travel services throughout the world.
