The company has been in the process of a multiyear transformation, which has included asset sales and management restructuring. Revenues declined 2 percent year over year to $95.2 billion in 2019, and the company reported a profit of $1.8 billion, compared with a $20.6 billion loss in 2018. GE reported about 205,000 employees at the end of 2019, down from 283,000 in 2018.
