GlobalStar Travel Management's network of travel management
companies now can help corporates claim compensation from airlines for flight delays,
cancellations and missed connections. GlobalStar has achieved that by
white-labeling flight-disruption claims company PaxFour's service as ClaimStar
and including it in GlobalStar's core suite of products and services. Paxfour's
network of claims companies will analyze GlobalStar clients' travel data for delays,
cancellations and missed connections that could entitle the company to
compensation. If Paxfour identifies an opportunity, the claims company will
obtain power of attorney from the affected employee and take over the
compensation retrieval procedure, including filing a compensation claim with
the airline and potentially pursuing legal proceedings. Paxfour takes a cut based on the recovered compensation. GlobalStar
operates through 3,500 locations in over 85 countries.
