Google's U.S.-booked air volume surged by 25 percent from 2018's $320 million, well outpacing the company's 16 percent projection and marking the sixth straight year of double-digit-percentage increases for the tech titan's U.S.-booked volume.
Meanwhile, the share of Google's U.S.-booked air volume comprising international trips ticked up 5 percent year-over-year, to 70 percent in 2019. CWT remained Google's primary travel management company, handling 50 percent of both U.S.- and globally booked air volume, both rates up 5 percent from 2018.
For the second straight year, Google made no major changes to its global travel policy.
