Johnson & Johnson had $77 million in U.S.-booked air travel in 2022
according to BTN estimates, compared to $15.7 million in 2021.
J&J recently updated
its climate goals, and by 2030 the company targets carbon neutrality across
operations, including a 20 percent reduction in Scope 3 emissions from 2016
levels.
The company's business
travel in 2022 generated nearly 434,000 metric tons of carbon dioxide
equivalent emissions, up from about 225,300 metric tons in 2021.
With
approximately 155,000 employees across the globe, up 8 percent from 2021,
J&J also continues to employ a hybrid work model to foster a balance of
in-person and remote work.
Worldwide sales in 2022 increased 1.3 percent year over year to
$94.9 billion while net earnings fell 14.1 percent.
