KPMG consolidated its air alliance contracts, in an effort that began at the end of 2014 and continued in the beginning of 2015. In 2016, the firm will continue to push travelers to use self-service mobile technology for travel bookings and updates, including new
tools and proprietary technology. KPMG’s global revenue increased 8.1 percent in 2015 to $24.4 billion, and that rise is expected to continue through 2016. This global growth also raised the number of travelers at the company from 20,000 to 26,000. U.S.-booked air volume increased 4 percent in 2015 to $167 million.
KPMG expects U.S.-booked air volume to reach $175 million in 2016 and to stay flat in 2017.
