Software company Microsoft increased
its 2022 U.S.-booked air spend from $27.5 million the year prior. The increase
followed the company's complete travel program revamp during the pandemic,
which extended into 2021. Microsoft has been streamlining its corporate travel
program, a process that includes an added focus on sustainability,
accessibility and traveler experience.
The software company
continues its collaborative efforts to promote thoughtful travel internally. Microsoft has continued its work with technology provider
Amadeus on corporate traveler experience.
Of U.S. point-of-sale air spending in
2022, approximately 60 percent was on domestic routes.
