Munich-based budget-tier hotel company Motel One Group plans to open 13 new hotels from its Cloud One lifestyle brand by 2026, the company announced Monday.
The Cloud One Düsseldorf-KöBogen is set to launch in Germany by mid-year, along with a "location in Prague," the company said. Other Cloud One openings are set for Chicago and Miami in the United States, and in Berlin, Brussels, Nice and Vienna.
Motel One plans to bring The Cloud One to Lisbon as Group's first hotel in Portugal. The expansion will add to Motel One Group's portfolio of 92 hotels.
The news follows the group's latest Cloud One opening in Hamburg in December, one year after the debut of brand’s first hotel in New York.
The Cloud One brand expansion represents "a full pipeline" for the hotel company, Motel One Group co-CEO Stefan Lenze said in a statement.
Motel One was founded in 2000 by Dieter Müller and Philippe Weyland.
