Pfizer's U.S. T&E reached $306 million in 2017, an
increase in spend from 2016 as a result of mergers and acquisitions. Pfizer's
U.S.-booked air volume reached $100 million, up $1.4 million from 2016. Sixty
percent of 2017 U.S.-booked air volume was for international travel. Of the
2017 U.S.-booked air volume, 78 percent went through the company's approved
online tools; 62 percent of online bookings required no agent assistance. The company enhanced traveler engagement and
communication in 2017 which resulted in a 12 percent increase in compliance.
