The global advertising and public relations company Publicis
Groupe increased its 2022 U.S.-booked air volume in 2022 nearly 42 percent year
over year from a base number of $12 million, according to BTN estimates.
The company reported 2022 net revenue of €12.6 billion, up
nearly 20 percent from a year prior. Non-personnel costs increased 14.5 percent
to €3.2 billion. Publicis Groupe increased its headcount in 2022 by 10.7
percent year over year to 98,022, with 33 percent based in Asia-Pacific, 30
percent in North America and nearly 25 percent in Europe.
In the past year, Publicis Groupe has announced several
acquisitions, including in November 2022, VIVnetworks, a leading Central and
Eastern European affiliate marketing agency. It was integrated into Publicis'
performance marketing platform CJ. In January 2023, it acquired London-based
Yieldify, a marketing technology company, that became part of the company's Epsilon
unit. In March, it acquired Practia, a
technology company founded in Buenos Aires in 1995. It will become part of
Publicis Sapient and enable that division to enter the Latin America market.
And in June, it acquired Adobe e-commerce specialist Corra.
