U.S.-booked air volume at pharmaceutical and diagnostics giant Roche in 2022 rebounded strongly, and the company is working to increase traveler engagement through an expanded and enhanced communications strategy to reacclimate them to a post-pandemic travel world.

Roche also is highlighting sustainability concerns to travelers in making trip decisions. The company also is working to roll out a new guest traveler booking solution and a virtual payment option for hotel reservations.

Roche's 2022 sales increased more than 2 percent year over year to 63.3 billion Swiss francs. The company had about 103,600 employees at the end of 2022, up from 101,000 one year prior.
