BTN estimates London-based energy giant Shell's 2022 U.S.-booked air volume increased to $50 million, nearly four times the 2021 estimate at $13.1 million.

Shell in April 2022 announced it had signed a multiyear deal with FCM to provide global travel management services. The company previously used CWT as its consolidated travel management services provider.

Shell's corporate travel team is  working with suppliers to embed various decarbonization solutions, including use of sustainable aviation fuel, carbon credits with a majority from nature-based solutions and electric vehicle charging facilities.
