Salesforce had a total U.S.-booked air spend of $83 million last year, up from $72 million in 2018. About 70 percent of U.S.-booked air was for domestic travel. About 85 percent of U.S.-booked tickets were made through approved online tools. The tech company generated $13 billion in revenue last year.
In 2019, Salesforce completed the integration of Amex GBT Travel globally. No changes were made to its global travel or U.S. travel policy in 2019. For 2020, the focus is on ensuring employee duty of care and traveler safety and building solutions for the post-Covid-19 road to recovery. Salesforce has placed new travel restrictions during the Covid-19 pandemic and is considering which restrictions will be temporary or permanent.
