2017 U.S.-Booked Air Volume: $63 million
BTN estimates oil field services firm Schlumberger spent
about $62 million in 2017 on U.S.-booked air travel, restoring the company to
BTN's Corporate Travel 100 after a two-year absence. Schlumberger's 2017
revenue increased about 9.5 percent to approximately $30.4 billion. Its
full-year net loss totaled $1.5 billion; excluding charges and credits,
however, Schlumberger turned a profit of $2.1 billion, compared with a nearly
$1.6 billion profit in 2016. Schlumberger at year-end 2017 employed about
100,000 people in more than 85 countries, about the same as it did 12 months
prior.
