GlobalStar Travel Management has added nascent travel management company TakeTwo Travel Solutions as a partner in its global network, the organization announced.
Former CTM CEO Chris Thelan and U.K. general manager Julie Cope launched TakeTwo last year with the aim of providing high-level, personalized services to international small and midsize travel programs, and it expanded into the U.S. a few months later. Joining GlobalStar "will not only expand our global presence further but also add another $12 billion to our global leverage," according to Thelan, who will take a seat on the GlobalStar board.
GlobalStar reports operations in more than 2,500 locations in more than 55 countries. Adding TakeTwo to the network will "add both strength and depth to our geographical footprint [on] both sides of the Atlantic that will only enhance every GlobalStar travel program," GlobalStar CEO James Stevenson said in a statement.
