Wyndham Hotels & Resorts saw year-over-year revenue gains of 74 percent, to $604 million, during the third quarter, owing to its acquisition of La Quinta, which closed in May. Excluding the La Quinta impact, revenue rose about 5 percent. Wyndham's global RevPAR grew 10 percent in constant currency for the third quarter. Wyndham introduced status matching between the Wyndham Rewards and La Quinta Returns programs this summer, and Wyndham president and CEO Geoff Ballotti said he expects that the La Quinta integration will be "substantially completed" by the first half of next year. Wyndham's system totaled 900,798 rooms as of Sept. 30, a 13 percent year-over-year increase, or a 3 percent increase excluding the acquisition of La Quinta and the divestiture of Knights Inn.
