Click Travel co-founder and chief technology officer Simon McLean died July 29, the U.K.-based travel management company stated. "Simon, 41, was an extraordinary talent, a wonderful colleague and good friend," according to the company. "He will be greatly missed." McLean co-founded Click Travel in 1999 with James McLean, his brother, and was instrumental in developing Click's strategy and proprietary technology for self-booking, distribution and other areas. Last month, Click Travel announced a "multi-million pound" investment from Business Growth Fund, which said the tech-focused TMC was primed for growth after "a sustained period of technological advances and new client wins."
