Travel management company and corporate travel consortia Hickory Global Partners and Advantage Travel Partnership will unite their respective hotel programs next year under a joint venture, the companies announced Thursday.
The joint venture, which the companies said would debut in 2025, will join the 43,000 hotels worldwide in U.S.-based Hickory's hotel program with the 42,000 properties in U.K.-based Advantage's program under the banner of "Global Stays - The Accommodation Network."
Hickory and Advantage each offer their members negotiated hotel rates at properties throughout the world.
Hickory was acquired last year by host travel agency InteleTravel and counts among its clients TMCs, ARC-accredited Corporate Travel Departments and other corporate buyers. London-based Advantage was ranked as the third-largest TMC network in Europe by BTN Europe in 2023 with gross global sales of €12.9 billion in 2022.
Financial terms of the deal were undisclosed.
