Accommodations range from luxury resorts (mostly found on Bazaruto and Benguela Islands) to extremely basic hotels. Some cities have
pousadas (hotels in historic buildings), and Maputo has a wide choice of upscale hotels. Mozambique has very few game lodges, and none are up to deluxe standards found elsewhere in Africa.
