Managed travel veteran and Tripbam founder Steve Reynolds has been promoted to general manager of Emburse Travel, a new division of the organization that brings together a number of recent acquisitions, including his own company, Tripbam, acquired last year, and Roadmap (now known as Emburse Go).
Emburse partners with Amadeus Cytric as a travel booking tool and Reynolds said the company had begun some "creative integrations" there. Ultimately, he said, Emburse aims to deliver an end-to-end platform with "true travel and expense integration."
The company has a product and integration roadmap for both large enterprise companies and the small and midsize business segment. In addition to its Emburse Cards and Emburse Spend payment products, the company currently offers Chrome River as an enterprise-level expense tool and Certify for small and midmarket expense reporting needs. The company plans to tie in Emburse Analytics to present travel, payment and expense data in one platform, according to Reynolds.
