Extended Stay America reported year-over-year gains on both average daily rate and occupancy during the third quarter. ADR rose 0.5 percent to $69.35, and occupancy increased 110 basis points to 80.1 percent. As of Sept. 30, the company had 52 hotels, or 6,500 rooms, in its pipeline, 18 of which were company owned. Third-quarter net income increased 14.3 percent year over year to $75.7 million.
