Netherlands-based meetings management platform Meetingselect has completed the acquisition of the Germany-based MICE Access, a global meetings distribution technology company founded in 2007, the company announced. Meetingselect had taken control of operations, staff and assets of the business as of Aug. 1, 2020.
The company also has launched a new tool in which to book remote workspaces, including meeting spaces and hotels.
"Remote working is here to stay, and individuals are looking for a flexible network of workspaces," said Meetingselect CEO Martin Bergonje in a statement. "Companies may be looking to downsize or offering employees an alternative to the isolated work from home."
Meetingselect raised €2 million in a Series A round in August. The company has a database of more than 245,000 conference hotels and over 500,000 meeting spaces in more than 100 countries.
