Internova Travel Group's premium and luxury travel division, Global Travel Collection, has partnered with AI-driven marketplace Reposite to develop a technology tool for travel advisors working in the entertainment travel sector, the travel management company announced.
The tool connects GTC advisors to a database of more than 30,000 supplier options and can help with request-for-proposals and planning processes including supplier sourcing, creating itineraries, client relations and workflow management, according to GTC. The tool is tailored to support travel in areas such as music, theater, television and film, which face a "significant gap" in terms of technology for travel planning, according to Reposite cofounder Alexa Berube.
"Their intricate workflows, often spanning multiple cities with diverse clientele and various check-in and check-out dates, have until now predominantly relied on email and spreadsheets," Berube said in a statement. "Collaboratively, we have worked hand in hand to develop a custom solution to streamline the RFP and proposal process, fostering stronger relationships between suppliers and advisors in the entertainment and production industry."
GTC president Angie Licea said entertainment travel is "a sizeable and rapidly expanding" part of its business. As part of the agreement, its own hotel and transportation partners will become suppliers on Reposite as well.
